Our story.
In 1959, Shoemaker & Besser Associates, Inc. was established to provide personal insurance products including specialty, standard, and preferred. We also provide commercial insurance BOP products. We are in the Top 55 MGA in the United States for American Modern Insurance Group. Some of our awards include the 1997 Agent of Year, 2009 Summit Club, and 2011 Alpine Club.

Our products and automation.
Access to our products and automation is provided by a brokerage agreement and insurance company appointment. Members are not charged membership fees, and there is no minimum written premium requirement, with the exception of Safeco and National General.
